Goodness Every Day
In 2012, Malt-O-Meal® became MOM Brands®. A simple name change, but one that reflects the company we are now. We’ve been family-owned since 1919, and today, we’re the largest family-owned cereal company in the world. We make it our mission to find better ways to make a better breakfast at a better price™.
We believe that great cereal doesn’t have to be expensive. Since 2007, American families have saved over $1.5 billion on breakfast cereal¹, simply by choosing our cereals instead of the more expensive varieties. And they haven’t sacrificed quality, great taste or nutrition. They’ve simply had a little more money in their pockets to spend on other things. And we think that’s a good thing. Evidently, a lot of families think saving money is a good thing, too. Maybe that’s how MOM Brands has become the fastest growing cereal company in America.
Just because most cereal comes in boxes doesn’t make it right. Guess what’s inside all those boxes? Bags of cereal. We believe the cereal box is excess packaging and just plain wrong.
At Malt-O-Meal, we know that our consumers are smart… really smart. After all, you buy our cereal because you know it’s a better breakfast at a better price – and that it’s better for the Earth, too!
